TER*ROR:
(noun)
An
extreme method of exerting power via psychological and/or physical
intimidation over an other.
We begin
this section with questions because we feel that the concept of
terror itself is a slippery slope. We aim not to necessarily draw
links between political resistance and acts of violence or terror,
but rather to put into question the psychosocial construction of
the term “terrorism.” Our hope is that the reader will
emerge with an expansive and challenging view on terror and its
various forms.
