Venezuelans have been on the march to support or oppose the democratically elected President Hugo Chávez. Some marches have had fatal consequences with life loss but people in general, especially women, peacefully use their imagination and perform social imaginaries that reveal what really is at stake: a conflict of national identity and legitimacy.
