Do suicides that happen stateside after a soldier returns home count as casualties?  

There is a debate right now about whether to include the name of one man, who committed suicide years after his return from Vietnam, on the Vietnam Memorial.

Suicides committed in Vietnam are included, as are the names of people who succumb years later to physical injuries and disease resulting from their time in Vietnam.
